Hey guys, it's going to be awesome out here in the northwest. Registration opens Feb 23rd. Who's going? I haven't gone to the other Nat Opens, so it would be super really cool to see a few of you guys. :D

My source didn't give me matchups, but Everett/Ween, Moeller/Thompson, Lichlyter/Reeves, Ledoux/Lovett, Gonzales/Starkovich and Cordaro/Moore all advanced.

For those who don't have Facebook. TP Finals:
Everett/Ween (Aff) vs. Gonzales/Starkovich (Neg)
Sefzik/Sefzik will be 3rd and third Place should get the Nationals Invite, though they are locked for that from what I hear.
Dunning/Dunning would have been top seed and were eliminated in Quarters.

LD finals are
Stephen Frantz vs. Gabe Hooper
Stephen has already pre-qualified to Nationals (2nd at NC Open) so I don't know how that works with roll downs and what not (Will it roll down at this Open or will it roll down to give the region an extra at-large?)

Please note that I'm exhausted and probably butchering this so these aren't guaranteed to be accurate, but as nearly as I can remember...

Results:

TP -
1. Everett/Ween (QN)
2. Gonzales/Starkovich (QN)
3. Sefzik/Sefzik (QN)
4. Cordaro/Moore

LD -
1. Gabe Hooper (QN)
2. Stephen Frantz (PQN)
3. Lisa Scott (QN)
4. Harvey Breaux

ADS -

1. Mikaela Twait (QN)
2. Aine Currigan (QN)

Apol -

1. Gabe Hooper (QN)
2. Danielle Thevanez (QN)

Duo -

1. Everett/Ween (QN)
2. Paul/Paul (QN)

Extemp -

1. Phillip Reeves (QN)
2. Michael Ween (QN)

Humorous -

1. Elizabeth Lichtenstein (QN)
2. Luke Strickland (QN)

Illustrated Oratory -

1. Justine Hostetler (QN)
2. Tyler Dunning (QN)

Impromptu -

1. Mary-Katherine Collins (QN)
2. Danielle Thevanez (QN)

Informative -

1. Michael Ween (QN)
2.

Open -

1. Tristan Penson (QN)
2. Abigail Sefzik (QN)

Persuasive -

1. Mary-Katherine Collins
2.

Thematic -

1. Katie Martin (QN)
2. Emily Uhlmeyer (QN)

There were a couple prequalifications and rolldowns that I can't remember, but that is a fairly comprehensive and not totally inaccurate summary. Please note how boss Region 2 is, locking TP semis, etc.

I don't know about LD speaks, but here are some for TP

1. Simon Sefzik
2. Michael Ween

I also know Jack Everett, Abigail Sefzik, Mary Moeller, Katie Thompson, Philiph Reeves, Jacob Dunning, Danielle Thevanez, and others got speaking awards.

Gabe Hooper probably got one in LD.
