I'm not competing, but, if I haven't had my jaw surgery by that point, I will most likely come visit for a day or two. :)

How does R1 qualify people to nats?

OH GOSH!! KERRY!!!! Former debate partner reunion is gonna happen, people!! :D :D

(this really makes me super duper happy)

I can't wait to see y'all again, Mrs. Hedrick! I hope you're all doing well. :)

We're excited to see you again, too! It's been a very eventful couple of years in many ways, but we're grateful for the chance to come to Nats and see our RIX and R8 friends :-)

I'll be there in LD and Info thanks to at large. (It seems the best way to ensure that you do not qualify in LD at Region VI Regionals is to be number 1 in at large... this makes three years in a row that the top LDer in at large hasn't qualified at Regionals. :P )

If you did qualify at Regionals, you wouldn't need an at-large slot (you'd already have one). At-large slots were developed for those who have done well at other tournaments in the season, but didn't qualify at Regionals.
