Does anyone know why debate Double-Octafinalists were not ranked at this tournament?

They never are.

It used to be different. I'm not familiar with the reasons for the change.

At every tournament besides Nationals, only those who reach Octafinals are given an official ranking. At Nationals (or at least formerly), all debaters who broke are ranked, but they changed that this year. Why the NCFCA chose to not officially rank everyone this year is what I'm asking.

Not sure if this is the right place to post it, but . . . .
Does anyone have speech placings? Or who came in 1st for each event?
