I know that there are a few blogs online that discuss debate strategies and theories. It would be nice to get a list of these blogs together in one place as a resource for everyone. If a mod could get all of the blogs into one post and then sticky that post somewhere, it would be wonderful.

The 3NR - NFL/NDCA - http://www.the3nr.com/
9 Minute Constructive - Joseph Samelson (NCFCA/Stoa) - http://samelson.wordpress.com/
COGblog - NCFCA/Stoa - http://cogdebate.wordpress.com/
Ethos Debate Blog - NCFCA/Stoa - http://www.ethosdebate.com/blog
Firewyer - Frank Wyer (NCFCA/Stoa) - http://firewyer.blogspot.com/
Global Debate - Dr. Alfred Snider - http://www.globaldebateblog.blogspot.com/
Impact - Joseph Clarkson (NCFCA/Stoa) - http://jibenow.com/impact/
An insight into debate - Joseph Clarkson (NCFCA/Stoa) - http://jibenow.com/clarksondebate/
Speakin Beacon - Dr. Doyle Srader - http://speakinbeacon.blogspot.com/
WolkenPower - Sam Wolkenhauer (NCFCA/Stoa) - http://wolkenpowerdb8t.blogspot.com/

Mod note: will put links users post into the initial post and delete, unless there is discussion also

If you're interested in the "general happenings of the debate world," then Alfred Snider's:

www.globaldebateblog.blogspot.com

is the place to go. He tracks articles and results from major tournaments in all formats, including policy, British Parli, American Parli, and the international circuit.

This is probably one of the best sites you could read if you want to become a deeper debater. Today they had an awesome article about speed in debate.

Why not? That might actually be fun. I think that's the only way I'd try a VDebate ;)

Since the post seems to have been deleted (???), I'll post it again:

I've recently started a debate blog called Loose Nukes (http://loosenukes.cogdebate.com). It's kind of a brain dump of all the random stuff I've accumulated over the last six years. New stuff comes out every Wednesday morning.

Also, mod note: The COGblog probably shouldn't be listed as "Daniel Gaskell", since I only post a small fraction of the content (it's really just affiliated with the COG sourcebook.)

EDIT: That's been fixed, but the Loose Nukes link still needs to be added, lol.

I haven't thought about my blog all year. But I had several people at the open mention it to me. I changed to a Tumblr, and created my sole post for the year. Enjoy.

^^^ this is legitness, by the way. Read it.

I haven't had time to update Loose Nukes for awhile, but I'll be posting a bit over the summer. (I have a bunch of posts half-written that have been sitting around in Drafts for way too long...)

EDIT: Note to mods - can we get an update of the links in the OP? Thanks!

To tell you the truth, I think most debate blogs just suck.

There are exceptions. Loose Nukes
