Hey all - I'm leading the HSD Research Club again this year and figure it's time to open signups. The club is fantastic at churning out high-quality research and is well worth your time, and the more people we have on board the better.

If you're going to join, you're expected to 1) be willing to put in the work to make your research good and not do minimal effort so you can get the benefits from those who put in more work, 2) write a brief - absolute bare minimum 6 pages but should be more - once per cycle, which is every two-three weeks or so beginning towards the start of September, and 3) share at least one 1AC flow per cycle once practice season starts and all the way to the time we finish up around Regionals.

We're going to need group leaders as well - people who write their brief and then their group members who wrote a brief on the same case send theirs in and the group leader compiles all of them into one large brief that is then sent to me and then distributed to the rest of the RC. The more group leaders we have, the more cases we cover. If we don't get enough group leaders I'm going to have to cap signups to ensure the group leaders we do have don't get completely overwhelmed (having any more than 5 briefs to compile into one is not easy).

To sign up, either post below or PM me and also mention if you want to be a group leader.

Thanks and I look forward to working with you guys this upcoming year. :)

John Mark, please tell me you're not going to join as an alum. xD

I currently don't have one; I'm planning to have research start somewhere around September 5th so ideally people sign up before then.
