I have been reading the thread, I should note, but as a villager, I haven't had much to actually do in the thread. Being accused is actually the most interesting thing to happen to me this game. XD
The investigate (supposedly) found me to be innocent, which possibly clears my name if I can work out the possibilities of either Evan or our mysterious benefactor being liars. So let me just kick my brain into gear for a moment...
There are two mafia, one of whom is dead, and Mr. E. is dead as well. (He told me the night before that he was a townsperson, which I suspect to be accurate.) That leaves three townspeople, a mafia, a doctor, and a sheriff.
Evan is unlikely to be mafia. His initial suggestion to lynch C-Guy could have been a setup to make us trust him, theoretically, but since he would then be the only mafia remaining, that would mean that his contact would have to be false, since he says that the investigate investigated him first. If that's the case, then the true investigate should have counterclaimed by now, since Evan would be the only mafia left and there'd be nothing to lose from a counterclaim.
Thus, Evan is basically confirmed.
His contact could also be lying. As the mafia in a simple game would know who was good and who was evil. However, if his contact is lying about being the sheriff, he would be mafia, and the only mafia left, and thus, I would still be cleared.
Basically, if Evan or the Sherrif claim is lying, then I'm confirmed townsperson. If they're telling the truth, I'm confirmed townsperson.
I know that most of you don't actually suspect me, but I felt like I should put that there anyway. Mostly because I've hardly said anything in this game. XD
