Aragorn sat beside the corpses of thepumaman and Masked Midnight, overcome with grief. When his eyes had stopped sweating he examined the gruesome wounds--they were alike! Aragorn pondered their wounds for a moment, and then, with a sudden realization, threw himself to the ground, narrowly missing the sweeping blade of a nazgul.

Anorton has saved himself. I'm glad you figured it out ;). For those who don't know what my last 3 victims have been based off, I would direct them to the Things You Need to Know About HSD thread. And if the heroes could post their warrants for why they are trying to save (or, in future, accuse) users, that would make the process much more enjoyable, especially for someone like Jared.

Identity Clue: daguerreotype

Victim Clue: My Lord of the Nazgul has failed me. Kill him.

Phase Ends Thursday at 7 AM CST.

It's much more fun to act like I have no idea why I'm protecting the people I protect. :P

Protecting Wraith Leader. (Reasoning: ummm... yeah. This is either a super-easy clue or I'm really on the wrong track.)

It was too perfect! The clue had led them straight to the next victim! Or had it? Sharkfin has been destroyed by the princess of Rohan.

Sorry if I made that clue too much of a Red Herring. I forgot about Chris' username. Use the clue of the last victim to unlock the identity of the next.

Victim Clue: The Princess of Rohan was infected with poison upon killing the Witch King, will the heroes reach her in time to save her?

Fiddlesticks. I actually "got" the clue, but I was looking at the wrong game and didn't see a Wraith King listed. (I didn't know we played LoTR twice.)

Protecting seizestars (linky).

Eowyn lay battered and bruised, the poison spreading through her veins. Aragorn knelt at her side, applying a poultice and calling upon the power of the elves, he left her side to avenge himself. seizestars has been saved.

I keep on forgetting to add phase-end times but anorton saved the victim so I didn't bother this time.

Identity clue: good advertising

Victim clue: Best stories

And I thought you had learned so much of my tactics! But I see you have not yet. DrSraderNCU has been killed in the midst of telling one of his famous tales. He was rule 22 on Things You Need to Know about HSD.

Victim Clue: No one will hire you

Make your save by Tuesday at 5 PM CST.

I'll protect Cyberknight, just in case it's referring to the speaker rather than the subject.

Incognito sat confused. Was Incognito not being cryptic enough? The most complicated of hints were identified in hours and the most basic seemed to stump the heroes the most? Bee has been saved. With a shrug of the shoulders, the next target was selected.

Cutting cycle short since the heroes figured it out and it was long to begin with.

Identity Clue: KwD (person's name)

Victim Clue: a wardless user

This cop needs to retire due to real life being too busy... can I pass off my badge to someone else? (Looks around for volunteers.)

You were becoming quite a threat, I had 3 clues waiting in the wings in case you solved them. I'm sorry that you have to go, you can pass off your badge if someone wants to take on the role (who isn't dead already).

Apologies for the extremely late cycle update. I've had to stay away from HSD for a few days.

Dibbles has died. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=24&start=400

Seeing as no one has come to my rescue and taken my badge, I suppose I shall continue. The worst is now behind me for IRL busyness. Anyway:

to kill me twice?

Protecting anorton, since my location is the loopback address.

Aragorn. would. not. die. anorton has been saved . . . again.

Closing this cycle early due to the identity being correct and I want to push it along quickly.

The assumption attached to this statement is incorrect.

We need to get this assassin, people!

Identity clue: cough cough
Identity Clue: R6
Identity Clue: Be
Identity Clue: H20
Identity Clue: daguerreotype
Identity clue: good advertising
Identity Clue: KwD (person's name)

And, finally, Incog said the assumption behind "I don't really know of all that many active HSDers from R6...." is incorrect.

A couple of thoughts:
H20 was written as H-"numeral form of twenty", not H2O. Perhaps this isn't water?
The assumption could be a couple things. First, incog could be an inactive user. I doubt that, though. Another thought is that they are currently in R6, but didn't compete in R6. Or, they could be doing Stoa in R6.
For daguerreotype: perhaps someone in Neverending Pictures or the HSD Photography thread?
Good advertising: Not so sure. Perhaps a username or title that shows off someone's wares?
KwD -> I'm clueless here.

I think the assumption behind the quote was (probably) that "R6" referred to NCFCA Region 6. There aren't stoa regions....so maybe "R6" isn't referring to a region at all.

I hadn't noticed that. Sorry, error on my part. That was supposed to be H2O (which has already been determined to be water).

Heh, I know who Incog is, and even I am somewhat baffled by some of the identity clues s/he's been giving y'all.
