Ah, that's possible. I did a forum search for Carly, but didn't see anyone enthusiastically discussing any type of Carly, though Carly Fiorina and Carly Rae Jepson were both mentioned (but not together).

Hammy has died. The user so fond of Hewlett Packard.

I've abducted 3 forumers and am holding them hostage in various places throughout Silly Stuff.

Find them if you can...

I'll give you 48 hours.

(You know, my dad was working at HP when she took over. He says that she took an extraordinary company and turned it into a standard company.)

So, what's the difference between the hostage users and non-hostage users? Is it just random guessing, or has something actually been done?

I'm going to protect Delta_FC.

Likely the three forumites... if we could get protections for these, that would be awesome:
Lil Yellow Fireball
i.was.here.tomorrow
Dr_Pepper

Guys, I've only used my favorite expletive (H*wl*tt P*ck*rd) once on HSD and that was in the Divergent mafia game. My guess is that it is someone that I have relatively close connections with or someone that I have explained my use of the expletive to.

My gut reaction would be to accuse Marina for the following reasons.

1. I've clearly explained and used the aforementioned expletive to her.
2. Her post times correlate very closely with those of incog's posts.
3. When Incog tried to kill Marina he referenced a post from two years ago. Seriously? Who does that?
4. Clue: H2O lines up with her being everyone's favorite fish.

Not full proof, but might be worth a shot.

Ahh, but you see that is incorrect :). You'll notice that even if you type in the term H*wl*tt P*ck*rd in the search box it will not search for the "*" and it would not pick up either of the last two posts. You have used it in the past o Hammy. If you've been on here long enough you'll notice that Hammy has dropped several of these lines.

Also, just to be clear this game follows past precedent as explained in Assassin XXXVI:
anorton (aka then Incognito) wrote:

If this Incog is doing it like the prior ones (which seems to be a reasonable guess, since this Incog seems to be one for tradition--they copied nearly verbatim the original post, the use of Roman numerals, and the fact they resurrected Incog instead of GoI), you can't contribute towards solving his/her riddles once you're dead.

Just for future reference, and I probably should have included that in the rules :D. Sorry Hammy.

Also, I'm closing out this phase because the heroes have all made their saves.

Sometimes Incognitos like to introduce a red herring. The heroes, confident of their success after uncovering the precedence of the kill, hastily rushed in to save others. Evan has died. JustM.e has died. The Invisible Hand has died.

Their desperate messages crying for aid can be found at these 3 links:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=15088&p=568828#p568828
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=14969&p=565038#p565038
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=14752&p=567142#p567142

Anorton cracked the code, but assumed that I would simply leech off of a past Incognito game (Delta_FC, as incognito, killed those 3 in a past game many years ago).

Victim Clue: Truth #1
You have until Friday at 4pm CST (roughly 28 hours)

EDIT: It occurred to me that JustM.e actually posted his note of capture in the General Debate rather than Silly Stuff, so I'll rescind his death because I miscommunicated and didn't give the heroes a fair shot. However, since I did tell Justin to post in the Silly stuff he is officially a mute (Can't speak in this forum again) (Sorry).

The heroes have let another user die without lifting a finger to help. Masked Midnight was choked to death in an ally.

The explanation of my hint will remain undisclosed for now, but will serve as a key to my next victim.

Victim Clue: 137

I'll give you a bit more time for this next cycle. You have until Monday at 8 AM CST.

Could 137 be a post count? Is there a way to check how many posts a user has?

I think that we have to figure out what "Truth #1" was before we can figure out this clue. Razi was Truth #1, and I'm guessing this next victim is Truth #137. Maybe it's a specific reply in a thread or something?

The heroes crashed through the underbrush in a desperate attempt to save Incognito's victim. Legolas grabbed Shayne at random. Aragorn took a wild guess and Frodo rushed to the aid of boredguy8. Gimli paused . . . "don't these clues have a deeper meaning here?" Gimli was onto something, but did nothing with his/her guess.

Meanwhile in the bushes, thepumaman gurgled his life away.

Victim Clue: Milk it for what it's worth--truth #99 would have helped me out

Get your guesses in by Tuesday at 4pm CST.

Okay, is there a topic with a list of truths somewhere on the forum?
