What. I'm scared now I'm probably going do die ;w;

Could For the Love of the Game refer to mafia? Probably not. Also consider the possibility that the target joined on that date. I'm too lazy (and too mobile) to see if anyone did.

No one joined on that date.

Oh good, my cluelessness was helpful. Umm. I still have no idea (double the e of Toy Store = Toy Story? Maybe?) and my brain is fried so I'm out.

Oh I get this one! This is from a episode in the TV show Monk:

Quote:
Monk: How're you doing, Toy Store?
Disher: What did you call me?
Monk: "Toy Store." Your name's Disher. Dish, plate, Plato, Play-Doh. Where do you buy Play-Doh?
Disher: Toy store.

Lt. Disher's boss' name is Captain Leland Stottlemeyer.

Not sure who on HSD that points to, but I think that's what Incog's referring to.

So Leland Stottlemeyer, For the Love of the Game. Does Stottlemeyer play a lot of games?

I feel like I should point out that this is a two-part clue. You take something you learn from the first line and then use that to help you search for the thing to which the second refers.

Incog posted in the Supervillains thread. Might be a clue.

And this is a two-part victim clue, huh? Well, since Incog posted again to tell us, that probably means we're on the wrong path.

Between when I started drafting my response and when published it, some people had posted. My response should not be taken as confirmation nor a warning--I just thought I should say it was a two part clue, where the first part informs the second.

Incog likes Loki and dislikes Riddler. That's good to know.

And with regards to Leeland band...HSU, OppositeWay, and Dawn have mentioned them, among others.

I've heard about someone called "Miss Batman", could that be it? Since Batman doesn't like Riddler?

Yeah, her parents actually banned her from HSD a while back, and she hasn't been on in F O R E V E R, so I doubt it's her.

I have absolutely no clue who Miss Batman is but I do wish sometimes my parents would ban me from hsd.

:o *gasp* Why would you want something so horrible? Is it because you subconsciously believe that you're evil and should be punished?
Let's all boost his self-esteem! Everyone, repeat after me!
I BELIEVE THAT CASHLEY IS GOOD!

Are you happy now Simon?

And I miss Emily too.
