The only Elmo references on the forum are a) Someone told Jacob Dean to propose to Brenna using Elmo instead of a crystal ring because she likes Elmo; b) the Katy Perry on Sesame Street thing; and c) an old "everybody write a new sentence" story.

So idk. I'd maybe protect Brenna. I think there was a photo of her in Elmo pjs or something floating around at some point, but that whole thing was literally years ago, so my memory's not perfect.

Is there someone whose use username is one of the characters? Isn't there someone called Cookie Monster? Or Zoe? I may be way off here, I'm not even sure those usernames exist on HSD.

I looked through when Incog first posted and didn't see any Big Birds, Cookie Monsters, Zoes, or anything of the sort. :P Imma go ahead and protect revgirl.

Fishy-fish is on a roll; revgirl is safe. (Notice her title: "THE Cookie Monster!") I didn't notice the other obvious ties she had to Elmo, so shame on me for such an easy clue.

Today, I've decided to use a different type of clue. Maybe you'll see it, maybe you won't. i hope you don't. Before you protect, think carefully: what would an Assassin like myself do to obfuscate a name? Lists, codes, or font choice, perhaps? Indeed--this game's hints have been rather easy; it appears Sharkfin caught on to some things you didn't. To catch me, you'll have to pull out all the stops. En case it wasn't obvious, your next victim dies on Tuesday at 8pm. As always...

I just detected that all of the caps in Incog's new clue spell out "Timbalistea." I'd bold them, but I'm on a phone now :)

Yep, all except "tuesday", so it could be a red herring (or just Auto-correct). Definitely needs a save. Also, Incognito seems to be stressing that he will be extra secretive this time around. Perhaps that is a clue in and of itself.

Timbalistea is protected. If I have other thoughts I'll post them.

I don't think that's it, it seems too obvious. I noticed an odd word choice, that might be a clue.

Eh I see this as backing up Evan's interpretation. The "stops" are the breaks in the post (e.g. the capital letters).....pull them all out and they spell (minus the T of Tuesday) TIMBALISTEA. Seems pretty simple to me.

Why minus the T of Tuesday? That would seem to debunk the whole theory in my opinion, but I suppose he could have made a mistake. Also, the stops being capital letters.... I'm not sure I get your logic here. I would think the stops are periods. These little dots at the ends of sentences. Also, he says to

which would seem to indicate that they wouldn't be in there....
But then again, I could be wrong about all this, in which case I will admit that I was wrong when it is confirmed by Incog.

Simple, Tuesday is a word that is normally capitalized. Most likely an input error.

Also, I would like to point out that the avatar of Incog doesn't appear to exist in any public internet database.

Okay so does anyone have any idea what "M.C.E" could be referring to?
