Legends are a grey area. They are the borderline between fact and myth. Some people believe them, while other scoff at their validity. The true impact of the told legend is never realized though. Until the listeners find themselves as part of the very legend itself. The kingdom of Hyrule was still in its early days of conception. Already, the kingdom had witnessed the rise of the formidable wind mage, Vaati, who attempted to rule the world with the fabled Light Force. But those days were gone. Vaati was imprisoned under a powerful seal held fast by the magical Four Sword. It is told that when Vaati arose that a hero rose up and split his body in four to defeat Vaati and seal him away inside the Four Sword in the Four Sword Sanctuary.
But those days are behind the land of Hyrule. Peace reigned supreme now under the gracious rule of Princess Zelda. Even the evil Ganondorf had yet to arise from the desert and the terrors of the great War of Unification had not yet been felt under the Hyrulean sun.
As time went on, a hint of darkness began to grow from the Four Sword Sanctuary. Sensing this ominous aura, Princess Zelda traveled to the Sanctuary with her trusted friend and adviser, the young warrior, Link. The two of them entered the hidden sanctuary and approached the pedestal where the Four Sword rested. The princess checked the seal, it continued to hold with the same power as it always had. As the young man and woman turned their back to the Four Sword and began their trek out of the sanctuary neither of them noticed the illusion fading away that left the Four Sword tilted slightly to the right. Before either knew what had happened, a dark tendril of energy snaked around Princess Zelda and snatched her away to places unknown and the released Wind Mage, Vaati blasted the warrior Link into unconsciousness as the mage flew away into the darkening sky leaving the warrior for dead.
Three fairies hovered over the still form working their magic to bring Link back from death's door. After many painstaking hours of laborious healing, the young man stirred and opened his eyes. The fairies quickly instructed him of what his course needed to be in order to rescue Zelda and put an end to the Wind Mage's renewed rule. Already, they told him, monsters were again roaming and terrorizing the land of Hyrule. As per the instructing of the fairies, Link approached the tilted sword where it lay in the pedestal. There was a blinding flash of light, the splitting of flesh and sinew, the breaking of the mind, consciousness stretched to breaking point. As the light diminished, Link looked to his right. Four heads turned to the right. He took a step back. Four steps back were taken. He raised the Four Sword high. Four swords were raised into the sky. The true power of the Four Sword had been realized. Link are coming for Vaati.

Actually, there's one large game mechanic that I'll be using. Currency.
The Rupee is the standard Hylian currency and will play several roles in this game. Currency Rules:
1. Rupees may be given, exchanged, traded, etc. at any time for any purpose. You can bribe people, you can trade rupees for the use of a power, you can give a gift of rupees, so on and so forth. All you need to do is PM me with the desired transaction and I'll move your rupees wherever you want them to go.
2. Rupees will determine tie conditions. While one side, good or evil, will win out in the end, places will be assigned based on the number of rupees held by each player. The more rupees that you have, the higher you'll place on your team at the end.
3. Certain powers for certain people will cost rupees to use.
4. Unless otherwise stated, when a person dies, they will lose all of their rupees. When a lynching occurs, the rupees will be split equally amongst the people who voted for said person unless otherwise stated in a power. Generally speaking, when a person kills another person they get all of their rupees.
