I was going to write one card per day over summer vaca to prep for this season.
That did not happen.

So, should I continue my quest? Or write enough cards to where I'll definitely have cards for at least one topic per round, and use the time I saved working on other events?

Right now I have every card for Categories One and Two (Stoa) but it's getting tiring.

That's honestly a matter of preference, in my opinion. I was going to do the same thing over the summer, but I realized that I honestly compete better when I don't have a complete card for a topic. So for me, it works best to have a small number of more "general" cards with quotes and verses that can be applied to multiple topics. But a lot of people do great when they have a card for every topic. It also depends on judges; some judges will really be impressed by the competitor who has a lot of outside sources and other resources that require specific cards. Others are more interested in the general analysis and presentation.

All that to say, it kinda depends. Do what you feel best about.

It's all up to you. Ben and Shayne both have good thoughts. Personally I wrote about 65ish/110ish cards and stopped there because (a) I had beefy generic files and (b) many of my cards cross-applied well to other questions. Several times throughout the years I competed, I had great experiences being pushed outside my comfort zone when I didn't have a specific card on a topic.
